Internacional: Salvadorian meets with politicians and celebrities such as Harrison Ford

Erika Smith , born and raised in El Salvador, came to the United States to visit her family in Virginia before the storms started in El Salvador. Even though she was supposed to only stay for a week, she felt the need to stay longer. “God had everything prepared” Erika shares, because days later the storms started in El Salvador. While it rained there, Erika together with her mother, Betty Teodovich, have been working on finding support to what they call their beloved country El Salvador.

Erika contacted our news desk talking about the importance of not losing faith. “God didn’t allow me to go back to El Salvador in my own time because He already had another plan and I went with it even though I didn’t understand much, I was obedient and stayed. Days later I found out about the disasters the rain caused and understood that my mission was to find help.” Erika is still in the USA where she has been able to meet the Vice President of the USA, Joe Biden, England’s former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Senators such as Mark Begich and Mike Johanns, Indiana Jones’ lead actor Harrison Ford, important members of the Pentagon and White House, Versace’s founder Santo Versace, Operation Smile’s founders, among others.

Erika shares the importance of believing: “All is possible with Faith! With Faith God is moving things and is involving me in important events in DC. It is important that the country receives good news that would encourage and surely know that God DOES EXIST and listens to the prayers and is called: Jesus Christ. We need to be united in prayer, asking God to forgive our sins (repentance) and recognize that He is the only one who can help us because He is faithful!”
